Make-up Tips for your makeover needs to begin with Scotty's award winning Make-up Lesson!

Complete Makeup Lesson, EYES*FACE*CHEEKS*LIPS*BROWS

EYES FIRST

1. Apply by padding and smoothing evenly a “Lid-base” over your eye cream on your eyelid.

2. Set & Press basic light color over entire lid from lash to brow. You may also use your loose powder as a base shadow color.

***Quick-Look Tip: Layer a medium shadow solely over your base color just on the lower lid!

3. Sweep a medium shade color beginning at the outer corner and working the color inwardly on the brow bone.

***Technique Tip: Shape & Improve your expression, by keeping your eyes open and chin up when applying a medium shade will help you find your brow bone so you can use it as a guide to apply the second shadow while looking into the mirror. For Day into Night wear, layer an additional intensified color outer corner and highlight a lite shade directly under brow for a great evening out!!!

4. Eye Lining-Basic Black-Begin at outer corner Aiming the pencil more lengthwise or brush into the lash line, Not the lid. Press firmly using short overlapping strokes tightly into the lash bed/lash ledge to knit the color for a seamless look. Lower lashes, hold chin down, but look up into the mirror, begin outer corner tapering liner tightly into lash bed.

***Color Tip: Navy liner used alone or layered over any color always lightens and makes eyes more youthful looking!

***Technique Tip: Smokey Eyes are best achieved by smudging/ rocking, with a brush, an intensified shadow into your basic eyeliner. Apply the smoking shade starting in the center of your eye. To Blend the color for a distinct Smokey lid, think about making a small crescent moon shape on your lower lid!

5. Curl Lashes. Apply Mascara moving comb back and forth quickly separating lashes. Now they sell vibrating mascaras!

6. Cleanse any fallen shadow and mascara with your favorite eye makeup remover or eye cream on two twizzeling Q-tips.

7. Moisturize around the eye area to prep for foundation 1st and then concealer 2nd.

8. Applying make-up foundation 1st under eyes and blend with sponge. 2nd, Exactly where darkness is seen, press concealer with warmed finger, set and blend out with sponge.

FACE

1. To even out skin, apply foundation using fingers or Q-tips, pressing and smoothing where more coverage is desired. Buff out with sponge sheering and spreading the foundation outwardly from T-zone toward the hairline, ears and neck.

2. Set with loose powder to increase wear. Use a velvety Puff to blend out any excess to create a flawless texture and finish.

***Technique Tip: Don’t Fear Powder, apply loose powder center of face first and again dust brush softly until hairline without adding more!

***Symmetry Tip: Think of bronzer to warm up look, apply bronzer under cheek bones first blend seamlessly into hairline. Concentrate where the sun would tan your face.

***Clarity Tip: Highlight & Shine to add luminosity and brightness, touch and add light to ‘pop’ look.

CHEEKS

1. Applying Blusher will add depth and harmony of color for your look. Start Blush under cheek bone shading into hairline & brush lightly back on top of cheekbone.

LIPS

1. Line and Shape Lip with liner.

2. Option apply neutral lipstick shade or concealer as your color anchor.

3. Applying lipstick with a brush will increase wear and adjust your colour intensity and smoother texture of finish.

4. Reline lips for added shape and color contrast.

5. Gloss and Pout lips for a healthy 3 Dimensional Look!

BROWS LAST

1. Comb out brows before adding color to remove excess foundation and powder.

2. Fill in brows with color staying on the high side of the brow adjust intensity and fill in sparse areas.

3. Set and finish with a clear brow gel. Current favorite Maybelline Define a Brow Gel.
